The service and educational outcomes
Maths Investigation Rooms provides live, online, 50-minute small-group Maths sessions for GCSE and IGCSE Edexcel Foundation participants. The service will be delivered with reasonable care and skill. Participation does not guarantee any particular examination grade, improvement, result or educational outcome; outcomes also depend on attendance, engagement, independent practice, prior knowledge, health and individual circumstances.
How the agreement is accepted
No handwritten signature is required. Before payment, the parent, guardian or adult participant must actively tick an unticked required box confirming that they have read and agree to the current Parent Service Agreement and Privacy Notice. The registration record should retain the accepted version and date. The payment step must clearly state the £25 weekly recurring payment obligation.
Registration and payment
For a participant under 18, registration and payment must be completed by a parent or guardian. Each scheduled session costs £25 and is paid weekly in advance through Stripe. The selected time is reserved weekly until the recurring membership is cancelled. There is no minimum membership term.
Scheduled breaks
Rooms and payments pause during the published Christmas and Easter breaks while the participant’s regular place remains protected. Rooms continue during school half-terms unless Iulia communicates otherwise.
Zoom and equipment
Private Zoom access information is sent to the registered contact and must not be shared. The participant needs suitable equipment, working audio, stable internet and an appropriate place from which to join.
Absence and one-week notice
A missed reserved session is not normally refunded or transferred. If Iulia receives at least seven calendar days’ written notice, the upcoming payment may be paused where possible, or one session credit applied if payment has already been processed. The credit is used for the next payable scheduled room week and is not a cash refund. Less than seven days’ notice, or no notice, does not qualify. Rooms are not recorded.
Ending the membership
The recurring membership may be cancelled before the next weekly payment. Cancellation stops future payments but does not refund a session already supplied or reserved. If Stripe takes a payment after a valid cancellation request received before it was due, that payment will be refunded.
If Iulia cancels
If Iulia cancels a scheduled room, the payment for that session will be refunded. A replacement session is not guaranteed.
Conduct and materials
Participants must communicate respectfully and protect the learning environment. Rooms must not be recorded, photographed or screen-captured. Access links and teaching materials are for the registered household’s personal educational use and must not be shared, published or used commercially.
Safeguarding
Iulia is Enhanced DBS checked. A parent or guardian remains responsible for the participant’s environment, equipment and appropriate supervision. Administrative communication about a participant under 18 is directed to the registered parent or guardian. If a child may be at risk of harm, necessary information may be shared with an appropriate safeguarding authority or emergency service.
Legal framework and consumer rights
The agreement operates alongside the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The Privacy Notice explains how information is handled under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Nothing in the agreement removes statutory consumer rights. A separate active request is needed if the first session is to begin within the statutory 14-day cancellation period.
Governing law
The agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings elsewhere in the United Kingdom where applicable.
Contact and complaints
Email contact@iuliaiuliana.com, call 07353 992590, or message Iulia on WhatsApp. Complaints will be acknowledged within three working days, with a substantive response normally provided within 14 working days.
Version 1.2 — August 2026. Customers should retain the version accepted during registration. This agreement is intended as clear operational documentation and does not replace individual legal advice.
